Amazon should, at the very least, disclose their behavior and make their methodologies open (and they'd better pray that the differences are truly random). I wonder how many times I've paid more than other amazoners… all the more reason to buy used books (the other being that Amazon will gladly hand over your personal information to any nonPATRIOTic act requests).
