Mini-iPod Highly Likely

Mini-iPod Highly Likely

3-4Gb, $99 is the guess. Still not official. Despite my current ongoing wars with those hardware bastards at Apple, I'm likely to get one of these. After all, my 1st generation iPod is only a 5-gigger, and you don't really need 10,000 songs on at once. On the PC, sure, but on the iPod? Not so much.

Scientists: Earth Travel Time on Schedule

Wild, whacky, stuff. For no apparent reason, the earth hasn't needed a leap second for the past five years.

Berry, berry interesting.

Neighbor's request leads to 1st of 2 bodies near Burien

"A neighbor's request for help in loading a piece of luggage into a Cadillac early yesterday led a South King County man to make an unusual discovery.

Visible under see-through plastic were human remains."

Rumsfeld backed Saddam even after chemical attacks

Rumsfeld backed Saddam even after chemical attacks

"The formerly secret documents reveal the Defence Secretary travelled to Baghdad 20 years ago to assure Iraq that America's condemnation of its use of chemical weapons was made "strictly" in principle.

The criticism in no way changed Washington's wish to support Iraq in its war against Iran and "to improve bi-lateral relations … at a pace of Iraq's choosing"."

Army Stops Many Soldiers From Quitting

Army Stops Many Soldiers From Quitting

What's not to like about being in a foreign country where you get shot at every day, on a mission with no exit strategy, doing things for which you were not trained? I mean, c'mon, people!
