Annoyances o’ the morning
No, people, this is not catching Rove in a lie. This is “catching” Rove in not addressing the question. Rove’s nonresponse response is a perfectly valid tactic and contains nothing probative.
…and I know it’s a new venture and all, but Josh Marshall really needs to quit it with the pushing of his new collaborative site. a) the Cafe isn’t all that interesting (and the layout sucks) and b) the constant repetition of “we’re discussing X here…” is annoying. Combine those with Marshall’s frequently patronizing/high-school remedial English teacher tone (“I know that many of you have had a more and more difficult time keeping track of Rep. Randy “Duke” Cunningham’s various shenanigans, sweetheart deals, pay-offs and boat transactions…”, “We’ve mentioned here…”) and he’s approaching being deleted from my bookmarks. Yeah, I know, I know. Big deal. Finally axed unfogged last week after a year of worthlessness and Kevin Drum’s heading that way too; TPM is headed the same direction. On the rise, however, is billmon. He’s been on a wicked good roll since coming back from his hiatus.
Because, you know, nothing’s more important than the CW arrows regarding my personal browsing sites.
