Robert’s mendacity and selective memory
Billmon says exactly what I was thinking, only, you know, with more style. Because that’s the kind of guy he is.
This just shows how out of touch I am these days with the mainstream (or should I say the sewer main?) of American politics. I thought the big scandal was Roberts’s failure to disclose his services to the all-powerful sunscreen lobby. But apparently being a corporate whore, and trying to hide it, can’t hold a candle to the henious sin of litigating on behalf of equal rights, and then trying to hide that.
The best part of this is that the right wing nutters are screaming bloody murder because their Roe-destroyer may turn out to be a stealth Equal Rights-er.
And everybody knows that that is simply unacceptable.
