I’m glad they’ve got their priorities straight
Hurricane in Florida… 2000 dead in Iraq… Cronymiers nomination tanking… indictments coming down any day now… what’s the White House to do? I know! Let’s sue the Onion for using the Presidential seal! (or threaten to sue, same thing).
I’m thinking we’re going to invade Syria this week. When in doubt, start a war!

Pretty amazing stuff but not the first time that the White House has gone after a website that is designed primarily to make fun of the Bush White House. On that occassion, the White House went after Chickenhead Productions, which does the pardoy website, http://www.whitehouse.org. At issue was the website’s use of photographs of Lynn (mrs. dick) Cheney and the “illegal” use of the “Presidential Seal”. If there was ever any doubt that the white house is currently inhabited by dumbasses, it was this challenge on the use of the “Presidential Seal” Apparently no one ever told the President’s counsel that the real Presidential Seal as an Eagle on it……not a VULTURE.

Remember W’s famous remark “There should be limits on freedom of speech”? He was going after a Bush paradoy website that time too. Its amazing that these assholes can embrace the likes of Limbaugh and Coulter and go after humourists who poke fun at the GOP.
