I bricked my new Linksys router today… thanks to Microsoft’s piece of shit tftp implementation. Bitches. I’m to blame as well, of course, since I was too lazy to reconfig one of my backup servers to be able to flash the firmware from Linux. But still, if Windows tftp would just transfer data correctly, it wouldn’t have hosed my firmware in mid-upgrade.

I may be able to un-brick it yet, but it’s too late tonight. When I do attempt the fix next time, by gods I am not coming within a country mile of Windows.
