Doughy Pantload

Goldberg’s first column after replacing the good and honorable Scheer is up at the LAT… and it’s everything one would expect from a mental midget such as Doughy Pantload.

Here’s what you can read in the article (note: this will be my one and only link to this drivel): multiple uses of the word “moonbats” used to reference liberals, a comparison of Bush to FDR, and Iraq to WW2, and the argument that no one thought of WW2 as a good war until Pearl Harbor, Hollywood, and the Holocaust. Also, we didn’t invade Iraq for WMDs. And conflation of Iraq and 9/11, etc etc.

A taste:

Now, you might say that Iraq was no WWII, Saddam was no Hitler, and 9/11 was no Pearl Harbor. Those are all fair arguments with varying degrees of merit. But WWII wasn’t “the good war” in our hearts until after Pearl Harbor and even until after the Holocaust, and a lot of Hollywood burnishing.

Quick question, Einstein – how could a war be a good war before we were fighting it?

An absolutely pathetic piece in prose, content, and logic, and yet … totally expected. What a sorry excuse the LAT editorial board has become with one fell swoop. Nice job!
