US terror watchlist 80,000 names long

and I’m one of them. No, really. There are some notable other mistakes on that list as well, including Ted Kennedy.
A watchlist of possible terror suspects distributed by the US government to airlines for pre-flight checks is now 80,000 names long, a Swedish newspaper reported, citing European air industry sources.
The classified list, which carried just 16 names before the September 11, 2001 attacks in New York and Washington had grown to 1,000 by the end of 2001, to 40,000 a year later and now stands at 80,000
And after they shot the guy Miami, the marshalls were putting their guns in the faces of anyone who had a cell phone.
A cell phone.
Because they might have had a cell phone gun. Or cell phone bomb.
What does it say about our “improved” security measures, checkpoints, anal probes, and long no-fly lists implemented in the past four years when marshalls still feel the need to shove their guns in the faces of anyone with a cell phone? It says “miserable failure” is what.
